Industry Training Manager
At Precision Manufacturing Institute (PMI), we support an atmosphere of mentoring through a genuine desire to help others grow. We have been educating students in the Meadville and surrounding area for over 25 years, and value instructors with a commitment to lifetime learning. We are currently seeking outgoing, team-oriented candidates for the Industry Training Manager position.
This individual is responsible for coordinating numerous aspects of our Industry Training program.
Primary responsibilities include:
Prospecting for new training opportunities;
Interviewing, mentoring, and evaluating instructors;
Reviewing and developing lesson plans and syllabi;
Coordinating building and machinery maintenance/repair;
Maintaining spreadsheets related to training, events, and billing;
Teaching/Substituting Industry classes when needed.
Successful candidates must be self-motivated and possess the ability to be a good teacher and a great listener. The incumbent must also demonstrate strong organizational skills and a working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel. Position requires working a dynamic, flexible schedule based upon industry needs.
