Local Chicken Live Haul - Class A CDL
This is a Class A CDL position. Please do not apply for the job if you do not hold a valid Commercial drivers license. I do not have any type of training or schools.
Dedicated Regional Account
This account has two different positions available, Local and regional
The regional position that runs stores in Western NY, Western PA, MI (mostly north and west of Detroit), and OH. The Local run stays within a 150 mile radius and you will be home every day. This is all no touch freight to the driver and is 20% drop and hook. You will have 20 delivery stops per week. Drivers are assigned a Condo Conventional tractor for regional and daycabs on the Local run. You will be pulling a 52ft box trailers on both accounts.
Drivers who live more than 50 miles from the DC in Van Buren OH will be able to take the truck home. You must live within a 50 mile radius for the Local account.
Regional drivers are out for 5 days and home for two every week. Normally off weekends although some drivers may have to leave on Sunday evening to make a Monday morning deliveries. You will also be home for a 10 hour break during the middle of the week. Local drivers are home every day. And I have a day shift open.
Starting pay for Local is .45 cpm plus $16 per hour paid at the stop for live unloads (Time starts as soon as you arrive at the stop). This equals $1,000 weekly average.
Regional is paid .50 cpm and $16 per hour at the stop. Equals about 1,100.00 per week.
Hazmat required within 90 days of hire.
