The Project Manager is responsible for the timely and cost-effective development, design, and production of equipment to meet the customer's expectations.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Serve as the primary liaison with the customer on both solicited and assigned projects.
Conceive and estimate solutions for customers.
Plan and organize the project in a manner to identify and mitigate potential risks.
Provide leadership in troubleshooting problems and resolving customer complaints.
Project and control design and material costs on assigned projects.
Provide technical and administrative direction for the activities of engineering, design, and manufacture of the equipment.
Communicate with the customer and provide required documentation to internal processes.
Review and approve all designs, work orders and schedules.
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE Technical-based associate's degree At least 5 years' experience in a directly related field (Engineering, Project Management, Tool Room, Mechanical Assembly) PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Technical-based bachelor's degree ROLE COMPETENCIES Communicates Effectively Develops and delivers multi-mode communications that convey a clear understanding of the unique needs of different audiences.
Provides a clear message that is understood by everyone in the audience.
Composure Is cool under pressure, not defensive or irritated when times are tough.
Displays maturity and can handle stress and be counted on to hold things together during tough times.
Doesn't show frustration when resisted.
Customer Focus Builds strong customer relationships and delivers customer-centric solutions.
Dealing with Ambiguity Operating effectively, even when things are not certain, or the way forward is not clear.
